Hi there guys, new here and hope to learn lots about my new old truck. My name is mike and i've recently purchased a 1999 4x4 Superduty with the 7.3 powerstroke. Its got 260,000 kilometers and was bought off an elderly gentlemen who, unfortunately, had a couple of strokes and could no longer drive. Besides having all the fluids and filters in the truck serviced, and a Donaldson "Powercore" intake system ( the replacement filter is 110$), its bone stock which is probably how I will keep it.. for now...

PS, does anyone know about these donaldson intake systems? my *** was 3 shades of red paying that much for a replacement paper filter..

Sorry to hear about the previous owner, but sometimes that's a way to get a good vehicle.

If you go up to the Google Custom Search box up under the Powerstroke.org logo on the main page. Type in "Donaldson" - You'll probably get a lot of threads to read.
