first time owner, life time enthusiast!!

So I have been wanting a diesel for a few years now but could never seem to pull the trigger on a purchase. Mainly due to non diesel enthusiasts trying to talk me out of it (friends and family) but i knew that my lifestyle screamed diesel!!! I already own a 21ft hitch style toy hauler and an open bow wakeboard boat. I have had free use of my mothers Nissan Titan whenever needed as well as friends who always seemed to be more than willing to tow my toys but I never felt complete not having my own full size to get the job done. Recently I landed a really good job with a company in my field of work that I plan to stick with for quite some time so now was the perfect time to purchase my first true full size rig. I was planning on waiting until the first of the year to get my finances in order and all my ducks in a row until i was recently hit with a deal that I could not pass up!!

My fiances grandfather recently purchased a brand new dodge dually cummins(very nice for a dually) which left his old truck up for sale...
2003 Ford F250 7.3L Crew Cab short bed 4x4 with the lariat package (every option except sun roof and roof running lights) spray in bed liner, trailer bags, billet grill and superchip. The truck is in perfect condition inside and out and only has 96k miles!! current bluebook and NADA was between $19k-$21k on the medium to high end. He had 2 buyers at a minimum of $20k but i had told him if he ever decided to sell the truck, i would want it. So he approached me with a deal i could not refuse. He offered the truck to me for $15,500.

Now i have owned the truck since last thursday and have already started a huge list of upgrades and mods that i want to do someday...good thing about this truck is at only having 96k miles, i still have plenty of time left to do them all haha.

Ill try to post a pic of it later today.

SuperCruty I live in Tulare County. Id say its pretty much central valley but my job has me traveling all over california for certain periods of time depending on the project. I will check out the nor cal chapter still for sure. Im already in love with my truck. Hauled my first load today...2 pallets and 50 sheets of 3x7 plywood!!! lol the truck barely even drooped. Especially with my trailer air bags.
