Hello everbody

I'm thinking about buying first diesel truck.I never owned a diesel before
,and I've doing some research.What i've been reading isn't good news.I
would like to find a 7.3 liter ,but there almost impossible to find.The 6.0,6.4
liter diesel are complete disasters. If anybody could shed some light on the
subject that would great.Or maybe I should stick with my ford gas engine.

If all you've read is that the 7.3 is the only motor you should ever look at and that 6.0s and 6.4s are the devil, you need to keep reading

Agreed^^. Just read and read, and read some more. The thing is with newer diesels, they have EPA emissions crap on them that aren't healthy for the life of the engine and it's performance. You need to delete the emission stuff- egr and dpf systems and then you have a reliable truck that will last and perform day in and day out with regular maintenance peformed and preventative maintainence performed.

I've only owned a diesel for 6 months. My first one. But since I've been reading in here, I know more than most people do that have been runnin diesels for years. It's all about how you research and educate yourself. I suggest you get to reading and use the search bar before making any posts. Chances are your questions have been asked and answered already here on this forum. Welcome, and hang around here and you'll learn somethin
