Talking Interested new member

Greetings all:

Making the leap from gas to diesel with a 2005 F.250, CC, Lariat. It is stock save for a 3" lift.

Got a brother in law who 1) talked me into it, and 2) has a lot of knowledge about the 6.0 powerstroke.

But for some reason he claims he doesn't have all day to answer my dumba$$ questions, so here I am to try to learn a few things.

Much appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I really don't even know enough to ask any good questions yet. There is a lot of lingo to get understood, too. But there is lots of reading to be done!

Howdy, and welcome to the ORG.

Here's a couple of threads for the new 6.0L owner:
Bullet-proofing these trucks, so you can address the MY weaknesses while you are in there:
Write Up: Bullet-Proofing the 6.0L PSD.

And things to look for with the monitor:

Any questions, just let us know.
