Hey guys, I'm new here. bought my truck almost a year ago and really love it. I should have made the switch to diesels a long time ago. Hope to get some good info and insight from people here.

Glad to have you -
to the ORG!!Check out these forums: Ford 03-07 6.0L Powerstroke Forums - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum Just out of curiosity, does your screen name have anything to do with riding motorcycles on road courses? |

It does actually. I live up in Alaska at the moment but am in the process of moving down to Missouri. We have a small little road course up here. I love racing. I have a 02 yamaha R1 that I custom built for the track here.

If you haven't already, get yourself a monitor for the truck. The Ford dash leaves a lot of holes, that cause a lot of headaches down the line that are easy to prevent. |

Except for sitting in the shop all day today with EGR issues, it's been a great truck so far. Lots to learn.

^^ That too could be useful to monitor before the ruptured EGR cooler sends coolant into the cylinders and requires a big Head Gasket Bill.
Monitor is very important on diesels
