Newb to Diesels and the Forum

Whats up guys!

I have been shopping for a good year for an older 7.3 Diesel. With the proven track record of this engine I knew it was what I wanted and its built on a solid platform. I am in the engine business (ATK ENGINES) and get to see first hand what factory defects, lack of maintenance and abuse does to engines as well as the trends/common failures. This helped me come to the conclusion that the 7.3 was what I wanted. Not to mention no emission BS.

As of Friday I am flying out to Las Vegas to pick up my new to me 2002 Ford F250 4x4 7.3 Diesel. Finally found the truck I wanted and thankfully my buddy who lives in Vegas and works for Dyno Jet as well as use to at Diesel Dynamics in Las Vegas was able to look it over top to bottom and gave it the stamp of approval. He showed up with all his testers to test Injectors, Compression, ECM etc..

Here are a few pictures of her, I cant wait to drive her back this weekend and start doing a few reliablity mods. Below is what I have planned. If there is anything else you can think of lmk.
