Red face New guy from Alberta

Just joined, just bought my second PS- it's a 2004 F350 crew Ranch 4x4. I needed a wheel barrow to continue renos- yeh that's my excuse. Wife bought in cause there room for her livestock (dogs) in back seat. My first PS went to son-in-law, along with 5th wheel. He loves it as much as I did. Funny-his job just gave him a 2011 Dodge cummins to drive- he still like his 2000 PS, 6 sp std. I really like my 2004- it's the first auto truck I've had in a while, mainly cuse I think I can trust it. Bolught the unit cheap enough @$9,900. The PO had just paid Ford just under $6,000 for new turbo and injectors, and some other work I can't make out from part numbers. I put new rubber on and so far seems to be running good. Have ordered coolant filter and Scan gauge. I plan to keep the truck but I'm not fixing it till it's broke. That is I'm not going to do the major delete kits for now. I think if I just keep Shell ELC coolant clean and T6 oil & filters-life will be good. Good to read the work some guys ar going to to keep their PS running.

Yeh Hank, I know there are warmer places to live- but at my age I'm thinking it's actually really HOT down there lol. We at least spend a month out in B.C. at Koocanusa- its near desert there but the water is fine and the sand is just right.
