Talking New from Minnesota

Hello All!!

I posted here not to long ago looking for some quick advise on buying a 6.0 Powerstroke, needless to say I am now the proud owner of a 2004 Crew Cab Long Box PSD. I'm quite pumped about it, its my first ever diesel. Now that I have it I'm like a little kid I get all excited when I get in in and fire it up, what can I say its quite cool.

Let me first say that I was a Chevy guy for a long time, needless to say my old 1500 decided its not worth going on anymore. So I set my sights on a diesel. I've wanted one for quite some time and I finally had an opportunity to buy one so I did.

So now that I've got it I want to start doing all sorts of stuff, new exhaust, gauges, tuner, slight lift, etc etc. Then I remember that oh yeah! I just got it perhaps I should calm down.

I guess what I'm getting at is where do I start? I've been on a lot of diesel forums and I've come to the conclusion that each motor has a different set of basic mods to do before people go crazy, So help a new guy out and point me in the right direction of what I need to be doing and where to start reading up

Oh, and I suppose pics are always fun



I'm thinking the grandpa cap needs to go during the summer, the winter however it might come in handy
