Hello

I joined up because I'm thinking about getting a newer diesel truck to pull my antique pulling tractors. Right now I have '87 F250 with the 6.9L and it runs and drives good but the list of things that work is shorter than the things don't work on it.

I have a couple other diesels at home, a Toro mower and a 1965 Massey Ferguson 1100.

I drive a company truck that is a '08 with the 6.4L in it too. It has 135,xxx miles and is stock. It's been in twice for EGR and it got a new exhaust filter the second time. All in warranty. Out of warranty it has been good.

I'm looking at a 2004 F450 6.0L with a 6 speed manual for towing the tractors. about 10 or 11 KLB plus trailer. It has a flat bed with a ball in it. It seems nice, I think I can get for a little over $16,000, 106,000 miles on it. It's a four door four wheel drive with 95 PSI tires on it and the state of Wyominig had it first.
