Just thought I would drop by. Been lurking around here at different times for quite a while. I don't currently own a PSD, but looking at picking up a 7.3L here in the near future. But even if I don't, my father owns his own company and one of the work trucks is a 6.4 PSD that I will be doing some modification to here soon since it is now out of warranty. Glad to be here.

I think you'd do well with the 7.3L (I am biased since I own one - ) There are what are called OBS (Old Body Style) 94-98 and SuperDuty 99-03, depends on what you're looking for. Good luck with your search.

I am quite familiar with both platforms. I am looking at a OBS F-350 later this morning after I get off of shift. It was an old ranch truck, so I am not expecting much. I found a SD F350 7 hours away I want to go look at as well. But until I get off these night shifts at work(no telling when it is going to end) I won't be able to make the trip. Thanks for the welcome.

Looked at that OBS F-350, and it was hammered. So I will keep looking. Pretty much have settled on 2000-'01 CCLB F-350 6-speed 4x4, and probably a dually. Thanks for the welcomes.
