New Diesel Owner in CA

Hello everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself before I started posting on this forum. I just picked up an 04 F250 Crewcab. I came over from the Chevy world with a 12" lifted 01 Tahoe on 39.5" tires. Just sold the Tahoe last month and picked up this Turbo Diesel for better towing capabilities.

I have one quick question, I've been noticing that you guys like your diesel trucks blowing smoke... Any particular reason why this is? Performance gains?

the black smoke is just fun its unburnt fuel usually due to a chip or programmer dumping more than needed
