New Guy from Western North Carolina

Hi guys Im a new guy from Asheville Nc. My truck is a 04 XLT F250 Crew Cab short bed. 93000 trouble free miles. Fixing to add exhaust, cold air intake. Has any one used a sct tuner and restricted the egr valve with it?

Yes most guys run the SCT with custom tunes with the EGR valve closed shut

That is not fool proof though...you should still plan for an actual EGR cooler delete as it still ruptures and still sends coolant into the cylinders even with the EGR valve closed.

I would put an exhuast on the truck but you dont need an intake until you get over 500hp....

(that is after injectors, turbo, fuel delivery, ect.)

Don't waste your money on an intake right now... You can do other things now that will benefit you more
