New Dude from Alaska

Hi everyone, joined today after creeping around the internet to find a good forum to learn about my new truck. This is about my 6th Ford truck over the last 25 years but is my first ever diesel! I bought a 2012 6.7 F250 Lariet CC a few days back and so far happy with the choice. I run a 8 sec drag car and the new car hauler was a little too big for my 11' f150 Lariet Limited with 6.2 so i thought i would see what this powerstroke thing was all about. I know my way around many types of gas engines and have a couple hotrods but am a total newb when it comes to these so hopefully i will get up to speed here.
I am not a guy that leaves much alone so i am planning for a small lift/level kit and some added engine performance.

Yep, ARP is the only track we have. Luckily i only live about 12 miles away.

Cool man. My dad and uncle used to always take me out there when I was a kid.

You live out in the valley then?
I grew up in Eagle River, then lived in Anchorage for a few years, just left summer of 2010 I can't wait to get back up there
