Greetings

Hi,
Just stumbled on the forum. Purchased my first personal diesel pickup last week, 02 f250. Looking to gain some product specific knowledge. Mainly because stock sucks. Hoping to first clean up the fuel system to gain some efficiency and mileage. HP and torque are not a concern at the moment. Truck will mostly be used as a car. But soon as I get the mileage sorted out then power/performance mods to come.

About me, I actually make a living teaching diesel fuel systems at a tech college, but I havn't given much time to 444e electronic specifics, Although I have a firm grasp of the HEUI fuel system, the controllers on the automotive side make things just a little different from HD 1708/1939 data link stuff. So I need to sharpen my knowledge just a bit.

Aside from my great family, my motorcycle is my real love and stress reliever. 480hp at the wheel will cause instant "smileage" 1.3L of turbocharged air to air aftercooled fun.

Jason

Only went 207 last time out (ECTA oct 06' Maxton, NC)before tuning issue holed a piston. However. Next year will be faster, hopfully mid 230's. Now to be equipped with innovate data logger for o2,4egt's,tps,its,map.

My wife says the truck will not be a money pit like my bike. So I'm not getting my hopes up to go willy/nilly with mods just yet.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Jason
