new powerstroke owner, UK

Hi all,

not long got me a an 99 F250 superduty with manual trans, got to say that i am very impressed with the truck so far, i do a lot of towing with my work so the truck is earning its keep!
The biggest problem is English roads are quite small! they seem even smaller now!!! and the cost of fueling the beast (diesel currently about $8 a US gallon in the UK!!!!)

My truck is currently has a 3" lift and is running 35" tyres on Chevrolet wheels with 2" spacers to sort out the PCB issues. unfortunately the wheels stick out past the body work a bit too much, so i will probably get some new wheels soon to get rid of the spacers.
It also came with a superchip flashpac tuning module, i was amazed at the power when in the performance mode! but i am now running it in economy mode and switching to towing mode when hauling heavy trailers.

its got the usual "door ajar" light on all the time and i need to sort the wiring out for the rear lights as they were modified to UK standards but poorly done.

Baz

Glad to have you - to the ORG!!

Good looking Truck!!!
Sometimes, spraying something like WD-40 into the door latches fixes the DA problem. Good luck getting the wiring fixed.
