Hi:
I have a no start problem on my 2003 F250 SD crew cab pickup. It has 160K on it and has no problems until now. Yesterday went out to start the truck and it turned over like it had a weak battery. I recharged both batteries, about 18 months old, and tried to start the truck again this morning. Same thing. Checked out and all the connections are clean and tight with no corrosion on them. The scan gauge II shows no codes and the battery voltage reads 12.4 v when the gauge is turned on. Goes down to 11 v when cranking. Sounds to me like maybe a bad starter, should I check anything before replacing the starter? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
