Hey guys just wanted to say this is a great site..it's already helped me trouble shoot problems with my truck.....Also wanted to say that I recently installed an Ege Evolution on my 2001 F250 7.3 and HOLY _ _ _ _ ! :drive:did it ever wake up that engine and thats only on setting # 3 no unlocks . However I do have to keep a close eye on my EGT's it will easily reach 1600f in a matter of 5 seconds ,

Welcome to the .org!!! Sounds like you need to upgrade your exhaust, do a DIY intake and a zoodad -- will help those egt's!

and if you think the evo is nice - wait till ya dive into the world of custom tunes!!

Yeh - you need a bigger exhaust to get rid of those gases. 1600 is pretty hot.
