FNG (Ford New Guy)

Not really new to Ford, but new to the forum. OneFastGranny said I needed to get a greetin up on here... so here it is!

I'm Dave in Sanford NC, do a lot of towing with boats. Offshore sport fishing is my game and normally we run out of Wrightsville Bch. I'm an active member on the NCAngler.com site (formerly Wellcraft Dave, now just Dave B).

I towed my 25 03 Wellcraft 250 Fisherman CC around with our 05 F-150 XLT Super Crew w/ 5.4L 3V 2WD 40,000 miles and it did pretty good for a 7,300 lb load on the hook.
But now I've sold that boat and we're looking to move up to a 32 or 35 ft CC in the 10-12K range... so went and found a good deal on a used 99 F-350 Crew Cab XLT dually w/ 7.3L TBD 203,000 miles to tow the next boat with.

For light towing, I use a 98 Isuzu Hombre XS 132,000 miles.

Look forward to participating, have been here lurking so kinda already know about the CPS, oil and filters and Air induction mods. I'm a straight up leave it factory and use it with in the limit's... so I do not program and dont plan or have interest in mod's/tuners/chips and stuff.... I just need to get boats from point A to point B as my real game is fish'n

I use Pennzoil lubricants exclusively, in both vehicles and boats.

So at the request of Onefastgranny.. there's my intro!

Thanx to all up front for all the help and info you folks have already provided without knowin it!

Since it seem's the pix dont attach.. here's pix of my trucks:
