I'm new to the forum. I bought my first diesel about six weeks ago. Got an '08 F-250 supercrew 4x4 to replace our '79 F-150. Not too impressed with the fuel mileage yet, but only have about 1800 miles on the truck so far. I imagine it will get better with age. Made a couple of trips so far with our trailer and the trucks pulls and handles well. We got the lariat model with most of the bells and whistles so we can enjoy the ride. Nice and quiet!!

Thanks for the welcome! I live in Bremerton, WA. Special ordered the truck thru Bay Ford in Port Orchard, to get the options I wanted. Along with the 6.4 liter diesel, shortbox 4x4, I got the 3.73 limit slip rear end with traction control, electronic shift on the fly, skid plates, tow command system, electric telescope/folding mirrors, adjustable pedals, power rear window, leather/heated seats, chrome tube cab steps, tailgate step, bed externder and supplemental cab heater.
