New to diesel...new to board

Hello!! Hubby decided that he wanted a diesel to tow our travel trailer. The '98 Dodge Ram V8 was a beautiful truck, but couldn't do the long haul. When the brakes when out (on a major highway & me driving) I gave up the truck, (replaced tranny @ 90k, 4WD out, no A/C.) I did not do much research, but now hope that the '07 6.0L will be good to us. It is a SWEEEEET truck. Hubby says that the truck will haul our 30ft, 8,000# trailer like it's not even there. Any thoughts?

congrats on the new truck.. and yes your hubby is right.... these new diesel engines have a lot of power stock and even more with some slight mods......
