Noob in Louisiana

What's happening fellars. Stopping in to say hello. I'm planning on buying my first diesel within the next month or so, and want to do some research.
(so please bare with me when I start asking a bunch of lame questions)

I've been lurking for a couple days and the site and info here looks good.

Later,
Jason

Thanks,

Trying to decide between a 95-97, or a 99-03.

unless its a $$$ thing...id go for the 99-03 truck. I do like the look of the OBS trucks, but the interiors are much nicer in the newer ones, and the newer motor has a bit more power too. Also, the mechanical fuel pump in the OBS trucks is just one more thing to fail, where as the electric ones on the newer trucks fail way less frequently.....

They are all good trucks...i am nit picking here, but thats my two cents...

Grew up in the LP (Livingston Parish), but now I live in Gonzales (between N.O. and B.R.).

That's the kind of stuff I'm looking for. Money is some what of an issue. But I also want to be able to make big power with it.
