new at this
I was told the this site could answer me some questions. I have a 1997 PSD with an edge programer my problem is when you first step into the throtle there seems to be a surge in power momentarily then it seems to fall off and excelerate like a slugish diesel does. Could this be a fuel supply problem due to the lift pump? It seems to be worse on the higher settings of the programer. Can someone help

1st off howdy and
 to the org. I'm not sure about your problem but I would think you have low injector pressure which could be a weak high pressure oil pump. Hopefully a tech will be along and give you a better answer.
