So I just got my first stroke!!

Well, my wife traded in our fx4 f150 for a new stang so now we have no truck and 4 stangs. So I finally purchased a stroke 7.3 to tow my racecar. It's a 2001 with 199000 on it. It's copper and the lariat model, supernice and clean inside you would think it had 50K on it. OMG is it slow though, had no idea it would be this slow. Just wondering how much difference a programmer to add HP and TQ is gonna make as far as seat of the pants feel goes. I realize it's not a racecar but dang! It needs more. It is currently totally stock other than a k&n. What do I need to do. Which programmer do I need to get for the most gains, both HP and fuel mileage for when I'm not towing. yep it will be slow in stock form, get a flip chip and let er rip

this is what you will need.... Guages first, intake, exhaust, and a tuner.. either a programmer like the edge EVO or a flip chip ... i highly recommend the new Evolution programmer with the attitude display.. that way you can get a good decent programmer and a set of guages in one..... my dyno numbers in my sig is with the edge evo.... let me know if your interested and i can get you a package deal on the whole set....

They only feel slow, if you aren't paying attention you will be going 90. I caught myself at first going way to fast because of the lack of speed sensation. Trust me it goes away and you start to realize how fast these things actually are.

I sure hope so. I was actually disappointed in the performance after hearing so much talk about how good they run. A friend of mine said his brother has one with like the 75 or 100 HP chip and he said it absolutely screams. I just couldn't imagine a chip making such a huge noticeable difference. Can't wait to see though. I saw a chip/intake package on ebay for like 375. Is it junk or should I purchase it?
