New here and looking.

I've been looking into getting a diesel these last couple months. Seeing as how I have never had one before don't really know what to look for and what not so basically I am looking for some guidance. I am thinking around a 2002 7.3 crew cab model and 4x4. But not sure since I don't know really anything. I have been a GM fan for along time but I am liking the Ford better but have been leaning towards maybe a Dodge. Sorry its so long just trying to be informative. Thanks for the help in advance.

if you go with a 99.5-2000 powerstroke they had a better bottom end than the others. thats always good if you get hooked on diesel performance (and you will)
