Just an Old new guy

Hello All
I guess I should of came nere first.
Larry over at DPP said I should check out this site. So far I like what I see. I've been a member of other Diesel sites around the web and frankly I got tired of the politics. Your out of the loop if you don't run this guys chip, exhaust or intake and if you do go elsewhere for your parts, " Well you really do not belong with the rest us sheep" If you don't buy from one of the sponsors, your an outcast. Or if your not running 400hp, "Why are you here bothering us The Diesel Gods".
I'm just a 53 year old guy, with a sweetheart of a wife for 30yrs and a good dog. I bought this PSD to drive and pull our 32' 5th wheel, because my old 86 6.9 had a hard go with it at times. The truck is a daily driver, but I want it to run better than stock, but not kick the rods or tranny out all over the ground. My old 6.9, tuned to the max, I drove for 11yrs and it would be nice if this one comes close to that.
Glenn

Welcome to Powerstroke.org Glenn! It's wonderful to have you. We try and be what a lot of the other sites aren't......nice. No one wants to be beat down over the internet by a guy with 10,000 posts and $80K in his rig just because you asked a question that he considered stupid. You can bet you won't get that here.
Enjoy the site!

Welcome! I am one of the "newer" guys here also, and I must admit it is a very nice site. We may razz one another now and then but it is all in fun...
Go Tony Stewart! (let's see what kind of razzing I get now, he he)
Shane
