Hey gang great site. But guess I'm here for a reason...
My 2001 F-350 PSD started acting up yesterday. 1. rough idle 2. SES lamp lit. The problem is worse today now along with evething else loss of power and hard auto-trans shifts. I already changed the fuel filter, it was new I just replace it 3weeks ago. I know I need to bust some code, but the Auto zones and barrowed units show no codes. And I know that impossible becouse the SES is on.  So tonight I'm going to a buddies place and he has a laptop with scaning\programing software for ford trucks. Any wisdom to impart to us while I'm on this quest???  Joe PS I've already downloaded all the PSD code info I could find. Google is my friend.

Howdy and
 Could be the Cam sensor. They act wierd. Sometimes they'll throw a code sometimes not, and I'm assuming the light would act the same.
