Noob from PA

Hey guys,
I just purchased a 99 F-250 extended cab, 8 ft bed, 4x4, 7.3 with only 46000 miles for a whopping 17K. I'd like think i got a good deal. What do you guys think? The truck is spotless one owner and the owner was a school teacher. I bought the truck at a small town Dodge dealer near Pittsburgh. The truck is freshly inspected and needs nothing, but i still want to take it to a Ford dealer and have them check everything and flush the tranny fluid and brake lines. Is there anything else i should look for? I'll post some pics on Saturday when i bring her home.

Brian

Welcome to POWERSTROKE.ORG.
Congratulations on your rig. I think you got a good deal, especially with the low miles on it. The 7.3 is really admired - very good engine. Somebody else will come along and maybe give you some pointers on anything additional to look for.

All of the above are in great shape and no drops of oil to be seen. Drives like its brand new. I'm the second owner and the first owner bought it brand new in 99. 8 years old and only 46K on the clock. The truck was babied.

I bought the truck in Scottsdale, but i live north of Philly. I was more than willing to make the 4 hour trip for this truck.
