I recently purchased(well kind of,$330 a month) a 99 Beige PSD ,4x4, Extended Cab short bed F-250. Mods are AFE intake, Edge Juice module with attitude controller, and 4 inch down pipe with full 4 inch exhaust, no cat, no muffler or resonator. I am in automotive school and I work on cars for a living. I bought the truck to tow and to have a little fun on the street. I am averaging about 18 mpg with mixed city and highway driving. I am sure if i would drive my truck easy i could get more. I am just getting into diesels so i dont know it all.Any tips , easy mods or suggestions are appreciated. I do have a few questions though,


What is everyones average max boost at? Mines at about 20psi, I was kind of expecting more but i dont know what the average boost is.Im figuring stock is about 10 - 15psi and with the chip it boosts it up to 20.

ANyone using an aftermarket wastegate actuator?. I was looking at a banks about $180, or i was reading some people just disable the wastegate. Pro's/Cons?

Whats a good cheap mod that is the most bang for the buck?

One more thing, Ive noticed my truck really doesnt smoke at all.Normal? Im not all about blowing a big smoke show, but i would like my diesel to at least puff a little smoke..............

What level do you have your Juice turned up at? The cheapest mod that provides the most smoke that I've seen is the TS Performance 4Bank Chip. But I dont think it will work with the Juice. The Juice and Attitude are a great product, and great for towing.
