Old Guy - New to Forums

Howdy out there, just wanted to introduce myself. Up until a couple of days ago, I had never been in a forum. Posted a couple of replies and already ticked off at least one guy. As I said above, I am kind of an old guy. A retired big city Firefighter, Street Rodder, Off-Roader(Buggies), RVer, Part-time Fabricator/Car Builder/Parts & acc. sales & installer. Been doing cars for about 50 years now. Don't claim to be an expert and for sure don't know everything. I am happy to share what I have learned over the 50 years. Most of the time you won't even know I am here. I will be busy reading, researching, and learning. That is why I am here. I have a lot more to learn, and there are a lot of you out there with things to teach me, whether you have 1 year of experience or 60. Got into diesels about 12 years ago when I bought a used '85 6.9, put about 100,000 and a whole bunch of work on the old stocker before I bought my 2002 new and started making changes. This one will have to stay with me until I'm ready to go, longevity is primary. I never had a 4X4 until this one, and all of my 4X4 knowledge is courtesy of a very old friend from our post "Nam" days who writes tech for Four Wheeler. I look forward to my time in your Forum.
