Howdy Howdy!

Hey! I just picked up a 2000 Powerstroke for hauling my car around with and to replace the car as a daily-driver.

I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with the 7.3l torque! I've got a few things I'd like to do to it and some issues I think might be common to the trucks to fix but overall I'm definately glad I chose a Powerstroke.

I just got my S&B cold air intake, but haven't gotten a chance to put it on the truck. I was also thinking about going with a 4" or 5" turbo-back pipe, and I definately want to put a tuner on it. I'm leaning towards Edge because of the ease of installation, the nice 'attitude' display, and power I've seen after putting them on a few Duramaxes, but I figure I'd check around here and see what all everyone has to say about the Powerstrokes.

Some of the issues I've got is sticking windows about 3/4 of the way down, a slow passenger window (I figure the motor's just wearing out), a broken passenger door lock power actuator, and a bit of a surge from around 1500rpm at part throttle... Oh, also it feels like there's a bit of slack in my drivetrain somewhere... if I don't shift just right I can hear/feel a clank as the slack is taken up. I haven't checked the U-joints yet though.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to hearing all your opinions/experiences and maybe when I get a little done on this beast I can share some of mine with the rest of ya'll!
