Hello everyone

I'm new here. My name is Dwayne. 47 year old male from Louisville Ky. I bought my 95 2WD regular cab F250 a couple weeks ago. Everything seemed fine when I drove it. It had sat for almost 2 yrs. I drove it home about 100 miles and it developed a problem. After much research on the net I've come to the conclusion that the Dual Mass Flywheel is causing the trouble. I've got an extreme vibration and knocking/rattle at idle. I pulled the dust pan and it's definitely coming from the flywheel. A small bump in RPM and it smooths right out. I've changed a many a clutch in my life but have no desire to tackle this job in my front yard. I've got a LUK kit on the way.

Anyone around louisville like to work on trucks for some extra cash, lol.

aboard! Sorry to hear about the flywheel.

We have some good mechanics on here, but I don't recall any in KY. I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.
