Man... Nothing wrenches my stomach like seeing a clean truck like that so messed up. I hope everyone made it out without any injuries. I've been in (not driving but in the car) 10 accidents and I know the smell of that airbag powder all too well. Seeing that picture totally brought me back. Good luck with all the red tape and I hope you get properly compensated. For what it's worth, don't be TOO worried about getting the shaft. People don't always get screwed over. I totaled a '05 Audi A4 (3 weeks after I got it) and I got back FOUR THOUSAND dollars more than what I just paid. The whole thing ended up being a good thing. |

Thanks fellas. I really hope I don't get the shaft. I am just ready to get a new truck or get pissed if it's not totaled. I would really like to know if there is a law that if the damage exceeds a certain percentage of the total value that it is totaled or if it is just a rule of thumb for insurance companies.
