First time truck/diesel owner

Well the wife had me upgrade my boat from a 20' Regal bowrider that did over 60MPH to a larger cruiser. Well as much as I loved my Caddy and the northstar engine she was no match for well over 7,000 lbs of boat. Enter my new (to me) 2003 Excursion diesel. Love the truck and the feeling of owning a thundering diesel engine. We bought the truck about 800 miles into a 1,800 mile trip. Hooked the boat to it and drove it off the dealers lot. Felt good pulling the boat rather than the boat pulling on the wife's Jeep Commander. VERY happy so far.... just want a few minor upgrades (but I get the feeling from this site that if you give a mouse a cookie...) I am looking to add clearance lights, the tall extendable towing mirrors, and a powerstroke turbo diesel logo like the 2/350's have. What else are guys doing to excursions to make them stick out? I am looking to stay close to stock (no lifts/large mudders) as I want to keep the truck looking like I own it to work (hauling, because I do) and not to make a statement that I need the biggest truck around.

You should be able to get the decals from a ford dealer, they should have replacements for the F-Series.

You can get a nice setup of LED clearance lights from RECON, Raul@Stealthautomotive sells a set for vehicles that do not have factory lights.

Or I am sure someone sells the harness & lights from a factory truck somewhere.

6.0, looked and looked and looked for a 7.3 but the only one I found had been in Rita, Kitrina and the red river flooding and had a few (go figure) problems and seemed liked a cursed truck. No one is giving the excursions up now-a-days and even fewer in diesel and fewer still in the 7.3
