Newbie from S. Texas

Hello everbody, I found this site while is was looking for info on front wheel hubs. I have owned my 2000 7.3 for around 5 years and have put around 100,000 miles on it in that time. The mods are pretty simple muffler delete, k&n intake, and superchips 3 tuner. Other than that we also have a 06 expediton and a 65 mustang fastback in the garage. This site looks great with tons of information.

Thanks
Nathan

First off WELCOME to the ORG! I,m sure you will hear plenty about the K&N filter not being the "best" filter for a diesel. One thing you might want to check is pull the air filter and insure that the intake tube and inlet on the turbo does not have any sandy film on them. This is a typical indicator of the filter not doing a great job. JJ

I am sorry I should have explained it better. I have a regular paper element on a K&N intake. I drive alot of gravel and that was the first thing my mechanic friend told me to do.

Thank you all for the welcome. I am not great a mechanics but I do have a degree in autobody. So if you have any questions please let me know.
