Did not see any info posted on checking the turbo. Pull the boot on the intake side of the turbo. Look at the fins. Are they sand blasted? Are they missing some of the fins. If that is the case the engine may be dusted which could mean a complete engine replacement. That deal just got expensive. You could still part it out and make some cash but is alot of work. Then try to wiggle the nut on the impeller. Maybe 1/8 inch max would be ok. You will want to try to go in and out + up and down. JJ

Yea, I got a buddy that works at the Ford Dealership as a Diesel Technician and he told me the same thing. Plus he is offering to go up there and look at it with me. If I get it I'll have him to help me out and also get parts cheap!
