Hey Hey
Hello there. my name is Brad and i DD my 99 7.3L F-250. I tow with it my 84 toyota extra cab that is fully built for wheelin, green stickered and all. lookingto add a programmer to it. was looking at the Diablo Sport Predator mainly. i just got my triple pillar gauge pod from Glowshift a couple days ago so i can keep track of the important stuff. it is mostly stock and i plan to keep it that way. has a leveling kit and 315 BFG's. the gauges and programmer are the only other mods i plan to do to it. and maybe get rid of those crappy mirrors.

Thanx guys. i am now thinking of selling the gauges in favor of the Edge Juice with Attitude for just under $600. then i would just need to get a tranny temp gauge since the attitude won't show that. For the exhaust i want to take the muffler out and exit the exhaust infront of the rear tire. i can do that easy enough as i work at a welding shop. I haven't decided what i want to do with the intake yet. it has an aftermarket filter in it. not sure what kind. a dude gave it to me, said it flows more air then a stock one. i didn't argue since it looked a hell of a lot cleaner then the stock one i had in there. thinking maybe the tymar upgrade.

Welcome to the forum, brad. Are you sure you wanna get the edge? Take your time before you buy ANYTHING for you truck and do a lot of research. You may kick yourself later for something you bought. Not that edge is bad, i'm just saying in general it kind of goes for everything. There are programmers and downloaders and chips and all kinds of stuff out there. Some are not adjustable on the fly, others are. The adjustability on the fly is a big seller. Sometimes the programmers take more time than you want them to to do their thing. My superchip took about 5 mintues to reprogram. I run a PPE Xcelerator on my Dodge now, and it takes even longer. But I leave it on tow, and use the TST box to add the big power. For a 7.3, the 6 position flip chips seem to be a more popular thing nowadays. They're adjustable on the fly, and can be programmed with whatever you want specific to your trucks specs. Check out Dp-Tuner.com.
