Hello from Alaska

Hey all. Shawn here. Stationed up in Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Just bought a 1999 F250 7.3L 4x4 6in Lift on 315/75/r16's. Got a 100000 miles on it with no mods except for the lift. Beautiful truck. New to the diesel world but after a week I love it so far. I've been told that its still a young truck-refering to the mileage and everything check out as far as compression and all. Seems to be a sound truck with the exception that I need to change some bushing that are starting to dry rot which I am going to work on this week. I see I have a lot of reading to do so I will get started. Feel free to message me.

Welcome to the org!! Glad to have you! Congrats on the truck.

Since it gets cold there be sure to get some a fuel additive that will help keep your diesel from gelling. A product called Diesel Kleen in the white bottle works well. Another thing is to find, if you haven't already, the cord to the block heater.
