New to Forum

I'm new to the forum and really enjoy reading all posts. I have a 95 F250 ps
and considering installing a Banks intercooler or even a Banks Power Pack
system. Anyone know of any pitfalls with this. With all I have read it seems
like a solid product. My truck is stock and runs great, I would hate to do
something dumb.

sticking with a brand name like banks, you may not get the highest and aboslutely best performance level, but your performance will definatley increase very noticably and the best part about sticking with a name brand when you are new to mods is that you have a proven, reliable product that the manufacterer stands behind. if that was my truck, i would not think twice about it as far as using banks for my mods.....they may not be the biggest gain out there, but for the average joe that doesnt know a ton about the PSD, they are one of the ones that has a proven track record........Marc

WELCOME!!!!

Can't go wrong with upgrades like that. I would recomend, however from personal experience that you get an intake. The AFE stage I or II is great. And if you have a tendancy to romp on it a lot, I would also recomend an exhuast and gauges if you get a hot chip. As long as you can keep you temps down you will have a truck that lasts a lifetime.

Thanks for joining us!!!

Welcome gbear. Glad to have you here on Powersrroke.org. Turbotime is right. I would encourage you to get an intake and, more importantly, open up that exhaust. Of course what you do and can afford to do is up to you, but if you buy an after market tuner or chip it, that will give you more power, more power means higher exhaust temps, and that can mean trashed turbos. That means more money! Take care of her and she will last a long time

If you like banks they are probably one of the best out there to run without a real risk of engine damage. Marc is right, they're not the highest powered, but they know what they're doing and you'll get quality products by going with them....
