Greetings Fellow Ford Fanatics!!

I'm Dan - hail from east TX but currently on a project in southwestern Nebraska - and I don't know if I'm in the right place or not. I recently purchased a '96 F-350 type I ambulance. Has a 7.3 turbo, but I don't know how to tell if it's a powerstroke or not. So I thought I'd stop by, have a cup o' coffee & see what I can find here. . . . . .

any hints?

If it is 96 with the 7.3 then it is a powerstroke.

I would love to help ya out, but I don't know much about the 96 motor Look in the forums under the 94-98 7.3 forums and see if you can find any info your looking for, if not post up some specific questions and Im sure someone will chime in with there opinions on what to do.

well start with guages...if you wanna crank out the power you are gonna need to watch to make sure you don't hurt the engine. Talk to our vendors on here and ask them...also Private message Tubz and Luke Cline...they are pushing some crazy numbers with OBS (old body style) engines. Ill private message them and refer them to this link i think it would be quicker that way.
