New to the forums

Hi guys,

Just wanted to stop in and say hey. I am new to the forums and to diesel vehicles. I should be completing the purchase of an '04 F250 CC w/ the 6.0L this coming week. The truck seems to have a decent service history, runs well, and has 28k miles on it. I plan to use this as my daily driver and to tow my track car around. I am replacing an older GMC 1500 ext cab.

I have been reading around these forums and was getting a little worried initially, but there also seems to be a lot of happy owners out there too (hopefully I will be in this group!). Looking forward to picking up the truck this week. FYI ... I'm in upstate SC.

I'm not planning any mods for it at this time. I think that I would prefer to get familiar with the vehicle in stock form. In the future ... who knows.
