New on the block

Hey there, my name is Mark and I'm new to this site. I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you with some of the questions I might have about my truck. I have an '06 F250, 4X4, SB, CC, Lariat, with the factory 20" wheels. The only mod i've done to it is a Magnaflow Exhaust. I bought a K&N cold air intake and installed it but took it off after the dealer told me they would void my warranty. Guess I'll wait until the warranty is up. Anyway...Hi Everyone!!

Hey Stump. What makes the stock filter better? I see you put a K&N on your Excursion. Educate me.

well, i did that before i found this site, and threw my stocky away, but its been tested on various occasions and k&n has the worst filtration and flow, the stock one has superior filtration and flow, until of course you start pushin massive HP the youll need a more open filter,

search around and see what the general consensus is about k&n if ya dont find what yur lookin for throw up a post.......we have MANY educated techs and people that work on these truck everyday so this site is a good source of info, i just found it a little late
