newb from washington!

hello all.....my name is thomas.....just bought the wife and my self a new tow rig 08 super duty 4x4, crew cab, short bed!.....pretty nice, not as snappy as the 08 dodge (can i say that and not get ***** slapped around here?!)....but i liked the looks and quality alot better than brand x.......my buddies are blown away that i would buy a ford, ben a die hard yota and general man!....reason i bought is the dealership i have in my small town i'm from....looking for a little more snap and since i know the service manager at the dealer ship, the only thing he'll let me do is put a banks cold air on....he said no exhaust it will hurt the bottom end....and no tune till she's off warranty.....any suggestions? thomas

Welcome to the ORG, I am from Oregon and havve been through Mossey Rock a few times!

Sucks to hear that he will only let you get away with an intake. However if you want to be sneeky the Sparten tuner with DPF delete pipe is undetectable by the dealer ship if you take the pipe back off and reset the stock tune on the truck!

If ya just go with the tuner then it is really easy to clog the DPF and they are very expensive to replace and obviously the dealership wont cover it under warranty because they are going to know that you were over fueling!
