Greetings earthlings

Just found this forum so I figured I would give a proper hello. My name is Fano. American by birth, southern by the grace of god.

I recently bought a 2001 PSD. I waited for a long time before finding what I think was a great deal

$8,800
1 Owner F350
166K on the clock
Lariat package
Seems well taken care of. Ford has done most of the recommended service.

Every truck I see like it is asking 12-13K+, some with many more miles.

Coming soon: Cab lights, gauges, exhaust, diy intake, chip, front tint, bull bars, remote start, air horn, CB, etc

First things first, I gotta figure out this horn/cruise control not working

i had that happen on my rig as well. i took it to my buddy at my local ford dealer and it was something in the steering column. he explained it to me that it happens when the steering wheel turns to far one way or another. in my case it happened because i shattered my steering output shaft and i turned my steering wheel hard right just to have it bounce back at me (Ford mech said thats what causes the CC and horn to not work, steering wheel to far left or right).

Good luck

Yup, its called the clockspring. I broke mine off when I did the steering box and turned the wheel with out it being connected
I was able to solder the wire back onto it and its been good for 10,000 miles now.

Welcome! Its an addiction by the way
