I there such thing as injector cackle?

I get this loud grinding noise from the passenger side dashboard area (coming from the engine) when I'm running the Extreme race tune at WOT. I also get it with the street tune at WOT, but its not as pronounced. Is this something to worry about? I just heard about 7.3 injector cackle and was curious if this is what I'm hearing. Will a RR get rid of it, and save my injectors?

Is it your downpipe? I got noise when I step on the throttle hard. Adjusted pipe for a little more clearance.

I don't know. I haven't heard it when I return to stock, and its not as loud with my street tune as it is with my Extreme race tune

Its hard to describe, and I doubt that I could get a "good" sound bite of it. When are you going to be in town Scuffy

Maybe Eric has heard of it, I don't know. Sounds nasty to me, and I have been wrenching for years, so I know its not suppose to be there

. Maybe its just something that is in the tuning???
