Danville Performance

Anybody used them for your powerstroke?

I know they do good work with d-maxes, I know a couple of buddies who have taken their trucks down there to get worked on, but I don't know anyone who has taken a ford there.

Anyways I am hoping to soon be putting in some engine upgrades (studs, egr delete w/wastegate, maybe more...we'll see), and I am looking for a shop around the lafayette area to do it.

Don't know about going to Scheid's in lafayette, I've heard some horror stories about their work with pickups.

I saw a d-max from indiana running around our town here in missouri one day last summer and it was a mean enough truck that i had to talk to him... he told me that the danville guy does great work on powerstrokes (specifically rebuilding stock turbos with more pep) but that he just doesn't advertise it... but from the looks of the dmax i saw and the dyno sheet the guy showed me.. he definitely knows a thing or 2 about diesels...

My cousin works there and he said that they do work on the occasional power stroke and cummins. It's really just a automotive shop that happens to have a few guys that that are dmax nuts.

Danville's DMax stuff is top notch. Don't know much about their Powerstroke work at this point.

Great guys, and fun to hang out with too.

BTW... one of their trucks would have been the 09 Diesel Power Challenge winner when I was there with Scuffy, if it hadn't lost a front wheel bearing on the 100 mile drive.
