What they found was the hose to the egr cooler leaking and a bad fuel pressure regulator. They did that and new fuel filter and it cost me $757. Picked it up yesterday and it seems to be running fine. I have my egr unplugged right now and hopefully everything is good to go. I am still going to keep an eye on the coolant and make sure I'm not losing any.

They also upgraded all of the software for the truck since it still had some old programs in it. When I shut it off before it was like something was still cycling for about 30 seconds and now I do not have that. I guess it is kinda good that the truck had some old programs on it because that means it did not have to have much warranty work done which means it is a pretty solid truck.?? The only thing a little weird to me is that it seems like it cycles a little differently when I turn the key now. The fuel system sounds like it has a little louder of a hum and that might just be because I have a new fpr and filters and the updated software might have something to do with that too. I am hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is solved.

I have a buddy with the same exact truck as me just 1 year older and we have been talking about doing the egr delete on both trucks. I think I would feel a lot better about everything if I just deleted the system out. I am going to hold off just a bit and see how it does with the fixes that were just done.

The system we have been looking at is the first coast diesel setup which comes with an intake that is hot tanked, welded, and pressure tested. It seems like the easiest kit of all because then I don't have to clean the intake manifold that I have on there now.

Well I was out of town all weekend and didn't get to drive my truck but I have been worried about the noise I am hearing when I turn the key to cycle to the fuel pump. It does not sound right at all. I think I am going to call Wabash back and talk to them about it because it definitely does not seem right. I also think I am losing some coolant still. Sooo it looks like my problems have not been solved....
