Honest Opinions Needed

Hey all, I recently became a part of this forum for technical help reasons, one of my jobs is at a private ambulance company with a fleet of E Series vans all with 6.0Ls, like almost any other private ambulance fleet. Now, these have caused some serious headaches and nightmares, but now not so bad that I have a way better understanding of them.

Anyway, so I've read and heard that as a regular everyday truck, the 6.0L does have its problems like anything else, but nothing close to an ambulance which runs and idles for several hours a day. So my question is, are the F Series 6.0L PSDs a good truck?? Is it a money pit?? Should I expect it to be at the dealership more than in my own possession??? Is it really that much easier to work on, than the E Series?? Am I going to be totally screwed in the winter time?? I figured, who better to ask, than my own neighbors??
