TORNADA June 5th

Last night we had some really crazy weather over here. City of Elmwood was hit very had but they won't let anyone in unless your a resident. My In-laws line in Magnolia there house had the powerline ripped from the house and thats it. Magnolia was hit hard in other spots. Lots of roads closes, houses and barns leveled. These pictures can't even begin to show some of the damage. Main roads were closed and pieces of metal and tree's blocking the road and metal wrapped around tree's like it's been there for years. Here are some pics

Trailer is from 1/2 mile away

House leveled

Cleaned up already

Cell phone tower leveled Not very good cell service right now

The 2nd largest old barn in Central Illinois leveled

Combine $435,000 was delivered Friday it was in a building didn't get a picture of the other side but it will probably be a total loss

County road used to access the hunting land. We made it 50 ft. This use to be thick timber next to the farm land

Holy crap! I am glad that I only have to worry about volcano's out here.

Thoughts and prayers go out to those that were affected.

The main roads had power and tree trucks lined clearing the tree's so they could get the roads re-opened. The carnage is unbelievable. Just walking up the road to get the the timber a ways we got chills down our backs because we knew what was there and how much is not there now.

Kinda tense in my neck of the woods too. It did stay north of me but it was sure coming this way. There was a house destroyed somewhere around Metamora/ Germantown Hills area too.

Here is a video of the Elmwood tornado...
