Illiana Strokers Club Decision?

Over the past few years, there has been an over-all decrease in participation from guys in both Illinois and Indiana. When we started this club there was guys from all parts of Illinois and Indiana and we scheduled gtg dates to fit those guys who would commit to certain locations.

But there's less and less guys who frequent the chapters page and provide their input. Since there's been less activity and participation it seems maybe it's time to separate the 2 states so that we can build in the foundation of guys who are in or close to Indiana who commit and contribute to the threads.

Somy question to you members is this:
Do you feel that it necessary to split up the club into 2 separate clubs at this time or to ride it out for another year? I know recently there's been more guys participate but I've seen this multiple times over the years

poll will stay open for 30 days

I'm up in the air on this my self. I like the new guys coming this time and glad for all the new faces. But Nothing personal to any of the new Guys but time will tell. I hope everyone and more come to the next one. We need more people to keep it going that's the bottom line. Just my .02 I guess I don't really help.

30 days is the time line i put out to try to get more input from the guys who have been involved for awhile or newly involved. Been a slow start, but after the 30 days I will look at the results and discuss the findings with the other 2 or 3 guys who have been around awhile and make the final decision based on said results

But if you have a better idea then I'm open to anything. Just trying to please as many people as possible and grow the club as individual states or combined as it is now

If 30 days is your decision then that is all well and good.

I offer you this though from my own personal experience... I helped start CSP over 4yrs ago and moved up through all the chapter director ranks until I stepped down as the director. Throughout those years I saw membership spikes and declines. We went through times where there was a large amount of activity here on the ORG as well as in person at events and gatherings, but it has always been a core group of us that keep the chapter alive, people come and go, it's the ones that are dedicated, whether old or new that make things happen. We have gone through numerous issues that needed to be voted on and set the polls up accordingly. We as a chapter have always had a 14 day period for any voting and a decision to be made. If members don't get on and vote within that time limit then that is their deal and we as a chapter move forward with the decision that is made by those who do vote. We have an extensive email list built up over the years and send out a mass email to everyone on the list when things come up that need to be voted on, so everyone gets notified and if they choose not to partake in the vote then they get to just deal with the decision made by those who did.

You will NEVER be able to please everyone within the chapter, trust me, I've been there.
