An Instant Messenger

How about an Instant Messenging system instead of Firing PM's (don't get me wrong PM's are great if the person is offline) back and forth if the person you want to chat about something with is online. Ive had several PM conversations that were many PM's long. I think it would be more efficient. Just me though

I know that there is a suggestion for that as we speak! Logan turned in one for a pager system that you can page someone and it will pop up as they are on here instead of pming.

Same here! Logan and I got the idea from somewhere else and it makes it super nice! You just click on the person and it will let you enter a reply then you hit send and they get it almost immediately. They can answer then send it back to ya. It kinda works like the private messaging in the chat room.

It has been brought up, but it takes up alot of room on the server. So, I am not sure if it will go through or not, but we are still working on it. No definate decision has been made on it so far, but I will try and keep ya posted. It would be very nice, But I would rather PM, than have to wait for a while for a page to load, just my opinion.

there are plenty of third party IM out there (yahoo, AIM, ICQ, etc) you can see up there ^^^ how many i use. the most popular one i've noticed for other members of this forum would have to be AOL Instant Messenger. If you don't want to install the actuall program then you can use the web based version (i think it's called AIM express) or what i prefere is http://meebo.com

that's about all i have.
